Asus ROG Showcases Three New High-End Gaming Monitors
At an event held in Berlin, Asus ROG showcased three upcoming gaming monitors with impressive new features and attractive designs.
The most impressive of the trio is the ROG SWIFT PG27UQ which comes with a 27-inch sized 4K IPS panel offering a refresh rate of 144 Hz. It is G-SYNC enabled, which means you aren’t going to notice any tearing whatsoever. To deliver great HDR performance, the monitor is capable of hitting peak brightness levels of 1000 nits. The Quantum Dot technology allows the monitor to cover the cinema-standard DCI-P3 color gamut, which offers roughly 25% greater color range compared to sRGB.
Next up is the ROG SWIFT PG27VQ with a 27-inch curved 2560 x 1440 resolution panel. Like the ROG SWIFT PG27UQ, the PG27VQ too comes with Quantum Dot technology, offering a wider color gamut coverage. It is NVIDIA G-SYNC compatible as well, with an impressive 165 Hz refresh rate. It integrates Aura RGB illumination as well, which can be customized as per your preference.
Finally we have the ROG STRIX XG27VQ, which also happens to be a curved monitor. The feature-packed monitor sports a 27-inch 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution panel with Adaptive-Sync technology and a fast 144 Hz refresh rate. It comes with an adjustable stand with an inbuilt logo-emitting lighting.
Asus hasn’t given out any availability info yet, so may have to wait several weeks to get your hands on one of these monitors.
